Melissa Grant - Collaborative Pianist

Melissa Grant is Accompanist for the Voices of Hope Community Chorus.

Melissa Grant

Melissa is an accomplished pianist and music educator, originally from the Chicago suburbs. Before joining the Voices of Hope Community Chorus in August 2023, Melissa was accompanist for the Sing to Live© Community Chorus from 2021 to 2023.

She earned a master’s degree in music education with a teaching certification at VanderCook College of Music in 2017. Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in music (piano emphasis) at North Park University in Chicago in 2001. She’s performed extensively as a pianist and accompanist and is the founder and director of the Third Coast Chorus.

In addition, Melissa maintains a private piano studio and is an adjunct faculty member at North Park University. She and her husband and their two daughters, cats and many plants live in the North Side of Chicago. In her rare free time, Melissa enjoys gardening and knitting. She’s delighted to be accompanist for the Voices of Hope as she’s found great joy, laughter and friendship in the group.
